Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

On this day, you will be arriving in Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir. Upon arriving in this gorgeous city, you will be warmly received by our tour guides and representatives who will help you in checking-in into a delightful houseboat or hotel. Post checking-in, get freshened up and spend some time at leisure. By late afternoon, walk till the scenic Boulevard Road that is situated along the picturesque Dal Lake. While walking on this road, you can also enjoy the stunning views of the Zabarwan Mountain Ranges along with a 1 hours Shikara ride in the Dal Lake. Completing the ride, return to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Day 2: Drive from Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (100 km / 3 Hours)

Today morning, after having breakfast at the hotel or in the houseboat, you will be driven to Sonamarg. Fringed with several fascinating mountain peaks and colourful flowery meadows, Sonamarg is located around 1,000 ft. above the sea level and is also known as the ā€˜Meadow of Gold’. On your arrival in the hill station of Sonamarg, which is also the origin of several Himalayan treks, you can hire a pony and ride up to the magnificent Thajiwas Glacier. Witness and enjoy the amazing views all around the glacier and by evening, drive back to Srinagar; dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel/houseboat.

Day 3

Day 3 : Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam (100 km / 3 Hours)

On completing today’s breakfast in the houseboat or at the hotel, take an enthralling drive through the scenic trials that connects Srinagar and Pahalgam; en route, you will get an opportunity to visit the magnificent Saffron fields. Also known as the ā€˜Valley of the Shepherds’, Pahalgam is one of the most scenic and popular hill stations in the entire country. The drive will get more exciting with your visit to the historic Avantipura Ruins and the Anantnag Sulpher Springs. Once you arrive in Pahalgam, you will be checked-in into a hotel, where you will having your dinner and spend the overnight.

Day 4

Day 4 : Pahalgam Exploration

In the morning, after having breakfast in the hotel, visit the scenic and rocky valleys of Chandanwadi, the astounding Snow Point which is located around 14km from Pahalgam and also enjoy a pony ride. Though all these activities can only be arranged at an additional cost, you are sure to enjoy these amazing experiences. Completing these visits and the ride, drive back to Pahalgam and spend the rest of the day at leisure. By the second half of the day, take a walk through the dense pine forest alongside the Lidder River and extend your Pahalgam experience further! The day will end with your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Day 5 : Drive from Pahalgam to Gulmarg (100 km / 3 Hours)

Following today’s delicious breakfast at the Pahalgam hotel, you will be driven to the enchanting valleys of Gulmarg. Also known as the ā€˜Meadow of Flowers’, this scenic hill station of Jammu and Kashmir is known for its salubrious beauty and charm! The drive to Gulmarg will keep you enthralled with the astounding views of the Nanga Parbat; you can also catch the panoramic views of Gulmarg from the Nanga Parbat On arrival in Gulmarg, embark on a short, yet fun filled trek to Khilangmarg. A trek for around 3-4 hours, this hike will get you acquainted with the pristine and enticing beauty of the meadow of flowers. During the day, you can also enjoy mountains rides followed by a chair lift; dinner and overnight stay will be in a hotel.

Day 6

Day 6: Drive from Gulmarg to Srinagar (60 km / 2 Hours)

Today; after having breakfast in the Gulmarg hotel, you will be driven back to Srinagar. Arriving in the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir, visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens, CheshmaShahi or the ā€˜Royal Spring’, PariMahal or the ā€˜Palace of the Fairies’, Shalimar Garden or the ā€˜Garden of Love’, Nishat Garden or the ā€˜Garden of Pleasure’ and Shankaracharya Temple. The day will end with your visit to the scenic Tulip Garden and the Handicraft Emporium, where you will get to witness and explore the various arts and cultures of Jammu and Kashmir; dinner and overnight stay will be in a hotel.

  1. The above mentioned hotels will be confirmed as per the room availability. Otherwise we will confirm a similar category hotel.

Note: Travelers planning to visit such remote regions should be prepared for a more rustic and basic experience, with a focus on simplicity and cleanliness rather than luxury amenities. Even the best hotels are equivalent to basic 3 here. It's essential for guests to manage their expectations and plan accordingly, taking into account the specific conditions and limitations of this area

Require Documents to issue permit for Tsomgo Lake, New Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass, Lachen and Lachung

  1. Both Side Photo copy of Valid Driving License / Passport / Voter ID for the Adults.
  2. Birth Certificate for the Minors (Children below 18 years).
  3. Passport size photos of everyone.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  1. All transfers from Gangtok / Pelling / Darjeeling to onward destinations will be provided either in the morning from 07:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. or in the afternoon from 01:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m.
  2. If any of the above mentioned sightseeing points is closed due to renovation / weekly closed / any other reason, the closed sightseeing point will not be covered on another day. Also note that no alternate sightseeing will be covered for that closed sightseeing point.
  3. If guests are booked for luxury vehicles, Scorpio/Xylo/Innova will be provided as per availability. A maximum 06 tourists including children are allowed in 01 Scorpio/Xylo/Innova with maximum luggage 5-6 medium size baggage in a vehicle. In case the numbers of heads traveling increases or the guests are carrying more luggages, then the guest will have to take another additional vehicle at a supplement cost or pay directly for the extra vehicle.
  4. In No Parking Zones, the vehicle will get parked in an available parking area. In such a case, you will have to wait for the vehicle to come to your designated area. Please be patient as the driver will have to come through traffic. Please coordinate with the driver.
  5. Most of the hotels do not have parking places & vehicles cannot be parked in front of the gates for a longer period hence guests should wait at the reception 5 minute before the departure to avoid the inconveniences.
  6. Due to vehicle parking difficulty, most of the areas are restricted to vehicle entry & specific time is allotted for entries. Kindly follow the time strictly as given to you.
  7. The vehicle may change every day/Sector wise as per the itinerary. The vehicle is not on disposal.
  8. Please inform the guests to travel with a maximum one luggage bag per person.
  9. Hotel Check-in time 14:00 hrs / Hotel Check-out time is 12:00 hrs.
  10. The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim & Darjeeling is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations. There is always scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would come across situations like water (hot) being supplied on time basis . morning & evening.
  11. In the area almost all the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can try to arrange rooms at the lowest possible floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs.
  12. In Lachen and Lachung most of the hotels are offering Vegetarian food.
  13. All guests are requested to carry minimum luggage when travelling to North Sikkim and keep the remaining luggage at the hotel in Gangtok because of bad road conditions of North Sikkim especially during transhipment due to landslides and road blockages.
  14. Senior Citizen and Child below 10yrs are not suggested to visit Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 Ft.) in Lachen due to high altitude and low oxygen level.
  15. No room heating systems are provided in the rooms in maximum hotels at North Sikkim (Lachen and Lachung), due to shortage of power, instead the hotelier provides hot water bags.
  16. In maximum hotels there is no geyser in the bathroom at North Sikkim (Lachen and Lachung) hot water is supplied by buckets by the hotelier.
  17. Hotels available are only with basic amenities at North Sikkim (Lachen and Lachung) & simple food cooked by the locals and not by hotel Chef.
  18. As Innova is a low chassis car and is not ideal to travel Tsomgo Lake Baba Mandir / Lachen & Lachung. Alternative in Luxury vehicles like Scorpio / Xylo will be provided.

Important Note about Nathula Pass: (We will not give you any guarantee for Nathula pass but we will try)

  1. The permit for Nathula Pass is issued by the Sikkim Tourism Department is completely subject to availability and Road Condition.
  2. Only limited permits are issued by the Sikkim Tourism Department before 24 hrs. of the tour (OR on the day of tour depending on road condition) to those travel agencies registered with Sikkim Tourism Department on Rotation basis. Nathula is closed on every Monday. Normally organizing a permit at the eleventh hour is not possible, the minimum time required is 48 hours before the arrival to apply the permit with all documents. We will try our best, but in case of non-availability of permit, the tour will only be till Baba Mandir. In case the permit is available one can opt for the trip with the supplement cost.
  3. It is mandatory that guests should carry photo proof identity cards such as Voter Id / Passport / Driving License and passport size photograph. (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card are not considered as a valid ID proof). A Birth Certificate is required for the Children below 18 years.
  4. As permit is mandatory and a very limited number of permits are issued per day for visiting Nathula, guests have to travel by any car whichever is available (like Xylo/Scorpio/Maxx/Bolero/Sumo) as per permit issued. We cannot give any choice on Vehicle type. This is to inform you that in order to control and send more tourists to Nathula pass, the department of tourism after consulting with travel agents laid down the following rules:-
  5. The Indian Army allows visiting Nathula from 11:00AM to 12:30PM only. Guests have to start early from Gangtok. If the guest makes a delay in starting from Gangtok we cannot guarantee the visit in spite of having confirmed permit.
  6. In high season a limited permit will be issued by authorities. We will try to get the permit but if we do not get the permit then we will refund the supplement amount after the end of the tour.
  7. Please note if the Nathula pass permit is not done due to weather conditions / Landslide / any other reason than we will refund the supplement amount after the end of the tour.
  8. Also note that if the Nathula Pass permit is issued and due to any other reason they can.t visit Nathula Pass then we are unable to refund anything.
  9. In case of less than 6 people from one travel agent the Department generally clubs small numbers with another travel agent.s small number of tourists just for 4 km up and down before Nathula Pass. Now in this case it might so happen that the guests might have to leave their vehicle and board some other vehicle with other guests or other guests may join them in their vehicle or for groups and multiple cars it might so happen that the guests who has paid for certain number of vehicles might have to accommodate in lesser number of vehicles as per the instruction of the Permit Office at Sarathang (04 kms before Nathula Pass). In that case no refund would be applicable.
